Acne Removal

Welcome to the Acne Removal Section!

For the past few months, I’ve struggled with an acne problem that consisted of scattered pimples and white heads on my face. I never experienced this in my past nor could I find a common denominator as a cause. Eating habits, transitions in my life, new bed sheets, it really could of been anything. With much confusion, I was buying product after product with no resolution.

Spending money every week on new items, with high hopes, started to become exhausting. This page I will be sharing what has worked for me and what my daily regimen consist of. I also will be posting products that I have not use but have great reviews online, just in case my remedies do not work for you.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar

Bragg Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, 32 Ounce – 1 Pack

Apple Cider Vinegar was my sayvour. I’ve used it during the past month, morning and night after I wash my face. My white heads have cleared and my skin has become smoother. As a substitute, you may use white vinegar. However white vinegar has an extremely strong smell.

  1. Wash your face thorougly with your desired face wash product
  2. Use a Toner
  3. Morning and night apply the ACV on a cotton ball and distribute evenly throughout your face

2. Steamer

Pure Enrichment PureSteam Fabric Steamer - White

Pure Enrichment PureSteam Fabric Steamer – White

Caution: Not sure if this product should be used on your face. However, all I can do is speak for myself right? If your just beginning your acne treatment phase use this every night before bed. Steamers help to bring oil and dirt stuck in your pores to the surface. If I do a steamer treatment I use apple cider vinegar during the process to kill any bacteria.

  1. Fill steamer up to the max line
  2. Plug steamer in and turn it on
  3. Wait until steamer starts spouting out steam
  4. With a washed face, point steamer towards your desired acne area. Make sure it is at least a foot away from your face and do not place steamer near your eyes
  5. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar periodically as you steam your face
  6. Repeat the steps above 1 or 2 more times
  7. Apple toner once you’re done with steaming

Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste Twin Pack (two 6oz tubes)

Toothpaste is the fastest way to dry out your acne, however it doesn’t kill the bacteria. I recommend using this if you have 1 or 2 bumps, but if you are dealing with severe acne it may not help. Use white toothpaste; avoid using gel toothpaste.

  1. Wash your face thorougly with your desired face wash product
  2. Apply Toner
  3. Apply toothpaste on troubled areas
  4. Leave it on for 30 minutes or longer
  5. Wash off

4. Tea Tree

Tea Tree – LARGE 4 OUNCE – 100% Pure Essential Oil (Best 4 fl oz / 118 ml)

Tea Tree is the one product I haven’t used to solve an acne issue. However, I’ve heard great reviews on it. It has antibacterial properties that help fight the bacteria rather then cover it up.

  1. Wash your face thorougly with your desired face wash product
  2. Apply Toner
  3. Apply the tea tree oil using a cotton ball on the affected areas
  4. Rinse your face after 15 to 20 minutes
